USM is know for the economic renewal of run down or under utilised space for retail, workshop and community uses, in imaginative and cost effective ways, including  the interim use of land pending development.  USM acts as consultant, developer, manager and investor, working with Central and Local Government and many construction and development organisations throughout the UK.

"Container City" is one of USM's latest projects, providing a highly versatile system of stylish but affordable accommodation for a range of uses made from recycled shipping containers.  Container City 1 and Container City 2 are located at Trinity Buoy Wharf in Docklands, a three acre site which is fast becoming an exciting centre for the arts and creative enterprise.  USM's next venture will be phase 3 of Container City named the 'Riverside Building' typically because it is located on the River Thames at Trinity Buoy Wharf.
