Vic56. The Vic 56 is an eighty-five foot steam ship, built in 1945 as part of the wartime shipbuilding programme. She worked for most of her life in Rosyth dockyard and is now preserved in working order by a small group of volunteers, and moored at Trinity Buoy Wharf. She is one of the few remaining steamships in operational condition preserved in the UK and is one of very few with an original unconverted cargo hold.
